Quick and accurate bearings can easily be taken with this low cost Davis handbearing compass. Constructed of impact resistant plastic, it is light enough to float. The compass card is liquid dampened (note- bubbles have been known to form in the liquid when the compass is taken to high altitude, but usually disappear when returned to sea level. In any case they do not adversely affect operation). Comes with complete instructions regarding the many navigation tasks for which the compass is used. Neck lanyard is included.
