The One Breath Pump - This thing can be a lifesaver. Everybody has inflatable things-water toys, air mattresses, boats and rafts. Having an electric air pump is great—as long as you have electricity, and a pump. A foot pump works too, but is big and bulky to store. The Instaflator works great, is inexpensive, and is no bigger than a paperback book to store. It's reusable hundreds of times.
We had a family reunion a few years ago. Lots of kids, and the air mattresses came out. But half of them didn't have pumps to match their fittings. We had been given an Instaflator at a trade show, and out it came. It worked beautifully and saved the day.
Here's how i t works. As the pictures show, you insert the nozzle (which fits all devices), blow into the tube, and roll it up. But here is the key thing. When you blow into the tube, all you are doing is opening the tube so that ambient air can fill it. Much like shaking open a grocery bag. You are not supplying air from your lungs to fill the inflatable device. When you roll it up, you transfer 6.5 cu. feet of air into the device. Often, only one roll-up is all that is needed. Honestly, it is so handy and inexpensive, you should have one for the boat, beach or home.
