The GPS 72H Is a replacement for the GPS 72 which was in-turn a replacement for the popular GPS 12 as a low cost solution for land or marine navigation. It is the perfect entry-level unit for the budget minded, or just anyone who is new to GPS navigation. It has a 4 level grayscale screen, WAAS capability which allows an accuracy of better than 10 feet, and a high sensitivity antenna which acquires signals quickly in challenging conditions such as heavy tree cover or canyons.

The GPS 72H differs from some other units in that it does not accept an external antenna. Although it shows cities worldwide, it does not include a basemap.
