Many of the features of these units are the same, such as: a built-in high sensitivity antennas or superior reception,even in canyon situations or with heavy tree canopies, high resolution (except for GPS 72H) back-lit displays, and increased internal memory. They provide many graphic navigation screens, all easily accessible through Garmin’s user friendly operating system. Mariners encountering heavy fog on a trip will appreciate the WAAS accuracy in navigating their way home. Audible alarms are available for indicating anchor drag, off-course, arrival, and proximity to a waypoint. Their trip computers provide odometer, stopped time, movingaverage, overall average, total time, max speed and more. They all have automatic track logs and celestial tables for best time to hunt and fish, and sun and moon rise and set times. U.S. tide data is included in memory.
