Joshua Slocum's Sailing Alone Around the World is a classic, beloved by sailors the world over who have enjoyed this engrossing tale of a man who traverses the globe in a small wooden sailboat named Spray. Rod Scher's annotation brings out a brighter picture and adds greater meaning to each page. In fact, just scanning the sidebars doubles the impact of this historic circumnavigation in 1985.
