All console functions may be controlled by an infra-red remote control which simplifies operation and provides desk or bedside operation of alarms or weather recording. The external wireless sensors have an operating range of up to 328 feet, and are powered by 2 AA batteries each (not included). The sensors operate on an 8-channel system which allows for 4 additional sensors of any kind to be added. Included sensors are:
