Go small, go simple, but go, urged Lin and Larry in their first book Cruising in Serafyn. In each of the books and articles they have written, they have encouraged people to join the unique world over the horizon. Lin and Larry have been continuosly wandering under sail since 1969 when they launched their first self-built cutter, then spent eleven years circumnavigating. They returned to build another boat.

To date Lin and Larry's two auxiliary-free cutters have taken them to more than 66 countries. Together, they have sailed the equivalent of almost five circumnavigations. This, combined with hundred of discussions with other cruising sailors to gather information for articles, plus the experience gained from double-handed racing in a dozen countries, make Lin and Larry the most well rounded sailors afloat. Their articles have appeared in magazines in seven different countries.
