For a few years these tables were included in the Commercial Edition of the Nautical Almanac along with the Concise Tables. They won a devoted following, which at popular request, caused the tables to be published separately in this booklet form. They are the only tables to yield the same answers as a navigation computer; that is they give intercepts directly from a DR position.
