FUJINON TECHNO-STABI 14X40
WATERPROOF STABILIZED BINOCULARS
Finally you can use high powered binoculars even from a bouncing platform. With twice the power of standard marine binoculars, the new 14×40 TECHNO-STABI makes every observation closer, clearer and rock steady. Its unique DIS (Digital Image Stabilizing) system lets you find and track targets while you’re heeled over or powering through pounding seas—or on or off road—or in the air. With image stabilizing prisims mounted in a dual gimbaled frame, controlled by piezo-electric sensors and direct drive motors, you get instant and constant response; a unique system that does away with the power hungry high-speed gyro.
The TECHNO-STABI is descended from the Stabiscope which was the world’s first internally gyro-stabilized binocular, and selected by NASA as standard equipment on space shuttle missions. It delivers a full ±5° stabilization freedom unlike other stabilizing binoculars which are not waterproof, and compensate only for hand tremor (Canon). Naturally, you get 100% EBC multi-coated lenses and phase coated prisms—a feature shared with Fujinon’s other highest priced binoculars.
