Description

NAVIGATION RULES
International – Inland

Also known as “Rules of the Road”, a copy of this is one of the items a Coast Guard boarding officer may ask for during routine “safety” inspections. David Burch has done an excellent job of emphasizing distinctions between the inland and international rules. His annotated table of contents allow the user to quickly and accurately access individual rules. This edition is more compact, easier to use, and less expensive than the U.S. Department of Transportation edition. Yet, it fulfills all requirements for having a copy of Navigation Rules aboard all vessels over 12 meters in length.

The Government edition of this book was last published in 1999. Changes to the publication have been disseminated through Notices to Mariners, and all such changes are incorporated herein. This book is reprinted frequently, and you can be assured that the copy you receive is completely up-to-date.

The Government edition also has no index, but one has been added here, with annotations to help guide the reader to the desired rule. SC, 221 Pages, 2010. SW 0.6 lb
